María Gabriela Caruso Catsicaris, alias Gabo Caruso. Fotógrafa. Nace en la ciudad de Buenos Aires el 14 de agosto de 1985. Estudia fotografía en la asociación de fotógrafos profesionales de la República Argentina de la que obtiene el título en 2006. En paralelo cursa estudios inconclusos de Ciencias Políticas y Comunicación en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. En 2011 se recibe de la carrera de Comunicación e Imagen del instituto Walter Benjamin. En 2013 exibe su primer trabajo individual "Estética de la Nostalgia" en Espacio Camilanto. En 2014 realiza un postítulo en Curaduría y Comunicación del Arte. En 2015 participa en una residencia de arte y tecnología impartida por la Universidad Nacional de las Artes. Ese mismo año cursa "Fotografía Contemporánea" en el NODE CENTER.
Durante 2014 y 2015 participa en los encuentros de clínica de obra con la artísta Gaby Messina.
En 2016 trabaja de lleno en el proyecto "La post Odisea, Elena sin hache".
En 2017 participa en el festival Photoalicante, y en la semana de Descubrimientos de Photoespaña.
En 2017 recibe el segundo premio en el concurso internacional de fotografía de Alicante.
En 2018 es seleccionada para el Transeurope de PhotoAthenas, en el Onassis Cultural Centre.
En 2018 cursa el posgrado en fotoperiodismo en la UAB (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona)
Actualmente reside entre España y Argentina.

He studied photography at the Association of Professional Photographers of the Argentine Republic, from which he obtained the title in 2006. In parallel he studied inconclusive studies of political science and Communication at the University of Buenos Aires. In 2011 he received the communication and image career of the Walter Benjamin Institute. In 2013 displays his first individual work "Aesthetics of Nostalgia " in the space of Camilanto. In 2014 he holds a posttitle in curatorship and communication of art. In 2015 participates in a residence of art and technology taught by the National University of the Arts. That same year he studied "contemporary photography " at the NODE CENTER.
During 2014 and 2015 he participated in the work clinic meetings with the artist Gaby Messina.
In 2016 it works full in the project "The Post Odyssey, Elena sin hache ".
In 2017 participates in the festival Photoalicante, and the week of discoveries of Photoespaña.
In 2017 he received the second prize at the Alicante International Photography competition.
In 2018 is selected for the Transeurope of PhotoAthenas, at the Onassis Cultural Center.
In 2018 he studied postgraduate studies in photojournalism at the UAB (Autonomous University of Barcelona)
Currently resides between Spain and Argentina.
